What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that uses very fine sterile needle tips to penetrate the skin's surface to create micro-wounds. These micro-wounds heal, initiating collagen and elastin production which leads to improved skin texture, tighter skin, and softening of acne scars.

What can Microneedling treat?

Microneedling treats a wide-range of skin concerns including:

  • lines and wrinkles

  • sagging skin

  • acne scars

  • stretch marks

  • enlarged pores

  • surgical scars

  • skin texture

What to expect during your Microneedling treatment?

Upon arrival, an Aesthetician will evaluate your skin's needs and personal concerns to generate an appropriate treatment plan for you. The area will be cleansed and the process will start. The treatment lasts 45 minutes to 75 minutes.

There is no downtime associated with the procedure and many patients leave with procedure with a glowing, refreshed complexion.  Following each treatment, you may resume regular activities, with the exception of vigorous exercise and excessive sun exposure.

Many individuals see results immediately after their first treatment, such as glowing skin. The most noticeable results are not visible until 4-6 weeks after the treatment. Repeated treatments are recommended for the best results. Collagen production will continue over the next six months.
