Hydrafacial is one of the most popular facial treatments available right now. Every 15 seconds, a Hydrafacial is performed somewhere around the world. There’s a reason this treatment is so popular, and it’s the results.

What is a Hydrafacial?

If you don’t already know, a Hydrafacial is a medical-grade 3-step facial treatment that uses patented technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate.

Step One: Cleanse + Peel. You can expect a deep cleanse and gentle exfoliation of the surface layer of skin. Hydrafacial is often labeled as a “hydradermabrasion” since the exfoliation power is comparable to traditional microdermabrasion. After the cleanse, a light peel of glycolic and salicylic acid is applied to penetrate the pores, softening the dead skin cells on the surface of the skin to help aid in extractions.

Step Two: Extract + Hydrate. Removes oil and debris from pores with painless extractions. The vortex-extraction technology acts as a vacuum, easily dislodging and removing impurities while also adding intense moisturizers that hydrate the skin.

Step Three: Fuse + Protect. After the skin is fresh and the pores are clean, the skin’s surface is saturated with antioxidants and peptides using vortex-fusion technology. This allows for deeper healing penetration of the super-serums, ensuring a beautiful glow.

Additional Steps: There is the option to upgrade to a Deluxe Hydrafacial. The Deluxe Hydrafacial has an additional booster specialized for your skin’s specific needs. Plus, LED light therapy for added benefit. The red LED light stimulates collagen production for anti-aging benefits while the blue LED light kills bacteria to target acne.

Is Hydrafacial right for you?

Hydrafacial is great for all skin types and can address all skin concerns. These include; fine lines + wrinkles, elasticity + firmness, even tone + vibrancy, skin texture, brown spots, oily + congested skin, and enlarged pores. According to Ellen Marmur, an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Dermatology and the Department of Genetics and Genomic Research at the Icahn School of Medicine, “This is nice for teenagers with acne; adults with pimples, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation; and for older patients with sun damage”. Hydrafacial is an extremely customizable treatment that will benefit everyone.

The Results

If you are familiar with this procedure, you may have heard the term “Hydrafacial Glow”, referring to the glow your skin has immediately after a Hydrafacial. Patients emerge with radiant, dewy skin after a single treatment. These immediate results last upward of a week, but repeated Hydrafacials are recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, brown spots, and oily, congested skin.
